This is one of the hardest checkout pages I’ve ever had to write.
If you know me, you’ll know I don’t like asking for help, but after a rough couple of years, God has been gently teaching me to humble myself and invite others in when the load feels heavy.
Back in 2023, we ran our CWIB Conference. In every year before, even through covid, we had over 80 women join us. So, I signed a contract with the venue for 80 attendees, trusting God would do what He had always done.
But in 2023, we only reached half that number.
The contract meant I had to personally cover the shortfall of $17,000. I used a government grant at the time to pay the venue, but later, we didn’t meet the criteria for the grant, and the government has now asked us to repay it.
I appealed for a grace of debt, which got to the Minister of Finance, but it wasn’t granted.
The remaining debt today is $14,825.50.
I want to be clear: I take full responsibility for this. It was my decision to go ahead with the contract, and I own the consequences.
But here’s the thing. This conference wasn’t wasted. God was present, and lives were changed.
I know because I received this message after asking for prayer about the debt:
“If it makes you feel any better, that conference was a pivotal moment for me in biz, and I bet it was for so many other women.
Like, I know the debt suck,s but what you did potentially changed so many lives and businesses, even if it has made things harder for you.”
And they’re right. That conference poured courage, clarity, and God’s wisdom into so many women. I’ve heard countless stories of breakthroughs, new directions, and faith being reignited.
So, while the debt remains, the fruit is undeniable.
A beautiful community member suggested I open this page to allow those who feel led to help contribute toward paying this debt off.
This is not easy for me, but I’m choosing to trust God’s provision through His people.
If you’d like to help, you can give below. No amount is too small.
Every dollar will go directly toward clearing this debt. You can select your own amount to donate.
From the depths of my heart, thank you.
